Homemade Bloody Mary Mix
Ingredients (per Drink)
2 Lemon wedges
2 Lime wedges
2 oz Vodka
4+ oz Tomato juice
4 dashes Tabasco sauce
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp minced garlic
2 x 4 inch (approximate) hunk of Daikon radish, finely shredded
1 pinch Celery salt, or your favorite seasoned salt
1 pinch Ground black pepper
1 pinch Smoked paprika
Garnish: Lime wedge, pickled okra, pickled daikon radish, green olives, and parsley.
Directions
1. You can prepare the mix beforehand, everything but the citrus and booze. It’s best to let the ingredients sit together for a couple hours in the refrigerator.
2. Pour some additional celery salt or seasoned salt onto a small plate. Rub the juicy side of the lemon or lime wedge along the lip of a pint glass. Roll the outer edge of the glass in celery salt until fully coated. Fill with ice and set aside.
3. Squeeze the lemon and lime wedges into a shaker and drop them in. Add the remaining ingredients and ice and shake vigorously. Strain (or dump) into the prepared glass.
4. Garnish with a parsley, carrots, green olives, pickled okra, pickled daikon radish, and lime wedge.
